2. PURPOSES

For what purpose do we process your personal data?

By accessing and using this website, participating in any activity organized by us, or using any other means that involve the processing of personal data, you accept this Privacy Policy, as well as the provisions included in the Legal Notice and Cookie Policy.

At CELSA, we provide you with the necessary information so that, before providing your personal data, you can consult this Privacy Policy and any other relevant information regarding Data Protection.

We inform you that at Celsa, we process the data you provide to properly manage the services or information you request. Specifically, we will process your personal data for the following purposes.

  1. Management of information requests. Manage the personal data of users who contact CELSA through the contact form.
  2. Management of supplier and customer portals. For tracking product and service orders and their corresponding billing, as well as any other related services, such as reminders, technical notices, security alerts, support messages, among others.
  3. Sending newsletters and promotions. Your data will be processed to send, including by electronic means, commercial communications about products and services offered by the Data Controller, including newsletters, promotions, and advertising from companies within the Celsa group.   4. Resume management. The personal data of users who wish to participate in our recruitment processes is collected through the “Join Our Team” section.

3. LEGITIMATION

What is the legitimacy for processing your data?

The legal basis for processing your personal data varies depending on the purposes for which your data is processed, specifically:

  1. The legal basis for processing your data in relation to information requests is the consent you gave us when making the request (Article 6.1.a GDPR).
  2. Customer portal management. The legal basis for processing your data in connection with order management, as well as other actions related to the management of the customer portal, is the execution of the contractual relationship we maintain with you (Article 6.1.b GDPR).
  3. The legal basis that legitimizes the processing of your data for the sending of commercial communications is the consent you have given us (Art. 6.1.a GDPR).
  4. Resume management. The legal basis that legitimizes the processing of your CV data in order to manage the corresponding selection process is the need to implement pre-contractual measures at the request of the data subject or to conclude a contract (6.1.b GDPR). 4. DATA RETENTION PERIOD

How long will we retain your data?

Your personal data will be retained for the period necessary to fulfill the aforementioned purposes. In particular:

  • Purpose 1: Your data will be retained until the information request is resolved.
  • Purpose 2: Your data will be retained for the duration of the commercial or contractual relationship, as well as for as long as necessary to comply with applicable legal obligations or to defend against legal claims or liabilities that may arise.
  • Purpose 3: Your data will be retained until you opt out of receiving commercial communications.
  • Purpose 4: Your data will be retained for the duration of the selection process, unless you consent to its retention for future positions within the company. This will in no case exceed one year from the date of receipt.

Likewise, your personal data will be stored using the necessary technical and organizational measures to guarantee the security and integrity of the data.

5. RECIPIENTS

To which recipients will your data be communicated?

In the event that you have given your consent for the purpose (3) indicated in the second section or, where applicable, for administrative purposes, your data will be communicated to the rest of the companies that are part of the group of companies that operate under the name Celsa, whose updated list appears on the official pages of said companies or in Where is Celsa – International Presence.

Likewise, your data may also be transferred to third parties in cases where there is a data processor or a legal obligation applicable to Celsa.

Additionally, your personal data may be transferred to public bodies and authorities, provided that such transfer is required in accordance with legal and regulatory provisions.

We inform you that, if we share your personal data with recipients located outside the European Economic Area who do not have an adequacy decision, we will adopt appropriate safeguards to ensure a level of protection equivalent to that provided for in the GDPR, in particular by entering into standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

What are your rights when you provide us with your data and how can you exercise them?

As the owner of the rights to your personal information, you have control over that data. This way, we also ensure that the information is accurate and truthful.

The rights you can exercise are:

  • Right of Access: You have the right to access your personal data, as well as to request the correction of inaccurate data or, where appropriate, to request its deletion when, among other reasons, the data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected. You have the right to obtain information about whether Celsa is processing personal data that concerns you.
  • Right to Restrict Processing: In certain circumstances, you may request that the processing of your data be restricted, in which case we will only retain it for the exercise or defense of legal claims.
  • Right to object: For reasons related to your particular situation, you may also object to the processing of your data. In this case, the Celsa Company will stop processing your data, except for compelling legitimate reasons, or to pursue legal action or defend against potential claims.
  • Right to data portability:You may request the transfer of the data you have provided to us to another data controller, under certain circumstances.
