Wire rod pickling<\/span><\/p>\n<p>It consists of two main processes: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Cleaning and preparation of the wire rod surface for subsequent drawing. The process begins with the wire rod passing through the automatic pickling line. This line chemically cleans the iron oxide (Fe\u2082O\u2083) accumulated on the surface, as well as the scale formed during hot rolling. This process is carried out using chemical or mechanical attacks and is followed by cleaning with water.<\/li>\n<li>Preparation of the wire rod surface for subsequent drawing. Coating the steel surface with products that reduce friction during drawing and improve corrosion resistance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 160%; color: #032e61;\">2. Cold drawing<\/span><\/p>\n<p> A process that involves drawing wire rod through a series of dies to achieve the appropriate physical strength and ductility characteristics to meet our customers&#8217; needs.<br \/>As a result of the mechanical treatment, which involves a constant and uniform reduction in cross-section, the material hardens, resulting in a smooth product surface.<br \/>The maximum tensile load reaches values \u200b\u200bbetween 1,600 and 2,300 N\/mm\u00b2.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 160%; color: #032e61;\">3. Stabilized<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The stabilization treatment of wires and strands consists of a stress-relieving operation achieved by heating the resulting product after the wire drawing process and simultaneously subjecting it to mechanical stress.
